Polish Tarnobrzeg is ready to strengthen cooperation with Chernihiv
One of the colleges of the city of Tarnobrzeg (Poland), which is a city-partner of Chernihiv, ready this year to take on the education of 10 children from Chernigov, and in the next – to 50. This was one of the results of the meeting of the officials of the two cities. From Chernigov Tarnobrzeg on the invitation of the President of the city of Grzegorz Kelba was visited by the Deputy mayor Oleksandr Lomako. The sides discussed issues of cooperation between our cities and taking it to a new level. Most Polish partners interested in cooperation in the field of education. Also this summer Tarnobrzeg to take on the rehabilitation of Chernihiv 25 children whose parents died or were wounded in the ATO area. In addition, between the Polish and Ukrainian cities planned cooperation in the cultural sphere. In particular, the participation of Chernihiv in the international scientists conference which will be held in September and will be dedicated to the history of the Polish families of patrons. It is appropriate to acquaint participants with the history of the Tarnowski family and their philanthropic activities in Ukraine and, in particular, in Chernihiv. Later it is possible to hold a joint exhibition in Chernigov. They talked about cooperation in the economic sphere and the preparation of joint projects, which will be able to obtain financing in the EU institutions.
