Chernivtsi: Municipal award of a name of Anton Kochanowski is waiting for new winners of the
Municipal award established to honor the memory of the Chairman of the city government of Chernivtsi Anton Kochanowski and the proper celebration of the most outstanding scientific research, popular scientific, artistic and journalistic works, local history research relating to the history of Chernivtsi and activities of city government, as well as support and celebration for the Chernivtsi socially important community projects, initiatives of residents, community and business. Enterprises, public institutions, institutions of culture, education, science, mass media, creative unions and public organizations annually to September 1, shall nominate candidates for the Awards in such nominations: "the Scientific discovery of the year", "Regional intelligence", "Journalistic discovery of the year", "the Artistic triumph of the year, "a Local initiative of the year, Philanthropist of the year, "the Business project of the year", "Youth initiative of the year". For the Awards can be nominated by citizens of Ukraine and other States, scholarly, creative team or group, public organization, enterprise, mass media for the best scientific, popular scientific, artistic and journalistic works, natural history intelligence, which covered the history of the city of Chernivtsi and the activities of his government, has received universal recognition, and popularitybut create a positive image of the city of Chernivtsi in foreign countries. At the municipal award may qualify for Chernivtsi socially important community projects, initiatives of residents, community and business. The winners in each nomination by the Commission for the awarding of municipal awards of a name of Anton Kochanowski, is composed of authoritative scientists, writers, public figures, literary critics, art historians, journalists, workers of culture and education. The winner may not be nominated for the this Award again. The title of winner is not awarded posthumously. The award is given during the celebrations on the occasion of the city Day. Each laureate receives a diploma with a picture of Anton Kochanowski and monetary reward in the amount of four minimum.
