Zhytomyr: the round table brought together representatives of national-cultural societies of the region
June 9, Zhytomyr regional state administration held a round table "Cooperation of the authorities and national-cultural societies (NKT) the field of the preservation and reproduction of the original cultures of national minorities of the region." The purpose of the event is to consider and discuss the solutions to the problems of tubing that arise in their activities, and the role of state administration in their decision. The meeting was attended by the head of Department of culture of regional state administration Yury Gradovsky, representatives national-cultural societies of the region and structural subdivisions of the RSA. Representatives of national-cultural societies spoke on the possibility of establishing schools or classes to learn the language of their national minorities, the construction of religious buildings, assistance in activities of artistic collectives of the tubing. And social activities of the societies for the benefit of the community of Zhytomyr region – the cleaning of the cemeteries, carrying out days of national cultures, assisting the army, the displaced, the wounded, the disabled.
