August 6-7. the festival of the Bells of Lemko"
XVII all-Ukrainian festival of Lemko culture "Bells of Lemko" will be held August 6-7 in the tract Bycheva Monastyrskogo district. This was announced by the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna during the folk festival "Lemko, Kermes". "Over the years, the first Saturday and Sunday of August, whatever the weather, on Vatrano field sound Lemko songs, flaming fire, - said the head of RSA. – Meet at the festival of Lemkos from all over the world. Relatives, neighbors, friends, acquaintances, fellow villagers. This tradition will continue this year. After all, Lemko culture, customs and traditions need to keep it and continue. Guests of the festival can see performances of Lemko ensembles, delicious Lemko cuisine, master-classes on manufacturing of household items. Everyone can discover something new, socialize and enjoy the special unity of the Ukrainian people. We will remind, in 2015 year the festival was dedicated to the 70th anniversary since the beginning of the deportation, the participants of the festival together with the head of the UGCC his Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, prayed for the ATO soldiers who are defending our country in the East, the dead soldiers and Heroes of the Celestial hundreds.
