The Ministry of regional development and the project of the Council of Europe to declare Ukrainian competition for journalists
the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine and the Program of the Council of Europe "Decentralization and territorial consolidation in Ukraine" announced the launch of the all-Russian contest of journalistic works on subjects "of local government Reform and territorial organization of power." The competition is dedicated to the lighting in Ukraine started a major reform of local self-government and decentralization of power, among the first tangible results: the growth of local budgets by 49% thanks to fiscal decentralization, voluntary Association of more than 800 communities (7% of the total) in 172 self-sufficient territorial communities, support for reform 59% of the population of Ukraine. To participate in the Competition until September 30, 2016 accepted the materials in the following four categories: * The online publication of the * Article (in print media) * Radio material * The video. A prize Fund. In each of the four categories there are three awards: * First prize – 15 000 thousand UAH * II prize – 10 000 UAH thousand * III prize – 7 000 thousand UAH The competition also provides for the award of the authors of a number of work incentive differences and inviting the winners to participate in international event in the field of local self-government in one of the member countries of the Council of Europe. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Competition will be held in Kyiv at the end of 2016. To participate accept the materials for the first time in the regional media of all types (TV and radio companies, print and online media) and forms of ownership (state, private, municipal) not earlier than 1 January 2016.
