About the testing of existing landfills was discussed at a meeting chaired by first Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Ivan Kriska. In Ternopil region there are 740 dumps, each of which would have to function, adhering to all statutory rules. "To solve this problem, you must begin to organize at least some of the largest landfills and to create working groups that will be their test. For example, the separate districts to demonstrate the whole region, as, observing the requirements of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological legislation, to equip the landfill for disposal of solid waste," said Ivan Krysak. During the meeting, suggestions were made for the allotment of certain land to create a legalized landfills for garbage, bringing to the issue of the United territorial community, and of the obligation of sorting waste for its further recycling. Department of environment and natural resources regional state administration in the month of June is required to verify the place of waste management, identifying the real state and project levels in terms of their accumulation. Also during the meeting the parties discussed the problem of illegal work illegally installed gas and gasoline, the identification of their owners.
