In the Rivne region, the police officer convicted for attempted obtaining 300 dollars of improper benefits
Agreeing with the position of public Prosecutor dubrovitskiy district court convicted the Deputy commander of a platoon of police battalion of special purpose GU NP in the Lviv region in the Commission of crimes of corruption. Even during the pre-trial investigation, the suspect concluded with the Prosecutor a plea agreement of guilt of a criminal offense under part 2 of article 15, part 1 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine (finished attempt at obtaining illegal benefit). - It is proven that a police officer in the line of duty at the operational headquarters on combating illegal production of amber made an attempt to receive $ 300 from the miners, who came illegally to produce "solar" stones with inner lining, - said the Deputy Prosecutor of the Rivne region Andrey Borovik. Criminal activity was stopped in may, prosecutors and the security Service of Ukraine during receiving of these funds at the direction of his subordinate police officer. Having examined the materials of criminal proceedings on fact, Dubrovitsky district court approved the agreement on recognition of guilt and appointed to a police officer the penalty of a fine in the amount of 1050 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (that is, 17850 USD), with disqualification to hold positions related to the functions of representative government and the implementation of law enforcement activities for a period of 1 year.
