Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" presented a new project "Mad traveler", analogues to which in our region is not. The project is implemented with the support of the regional state administration, regional Council and the international charity Fund "Without border". Recall that the public organization "Harmony" has become one of 12 winners of the competition by determination of programs (projects, events) developed by civil society institutions, and for execution (implementation) which provides financial support in 2016 at the expense of means of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA. "Mad traveler" is intended to meet the needs of people with disabilities in cultural, cognitive and spiritual development. The project will create a club "Mad traveler", whose members will be able to travel historical and cultural places of Podolia, and also developed a guide, "Travel without borders" by results of work of the club. "The project will allow to increase the General level of culture and respect for their country, their native land by the realization of the right of every person to knowledge of its cultural and historical heritage through ensuring equal opportunities of access to cultural-historical monuments of Podillia" – said the head of the project Ludmila Netsky. According to the Director of the rehabilitation center "Harmony" Raisa Panasyuk, it is planned to conduct training for representatives of the tourism region to ensure the accessibility of travel for people with disabilities. "Tourism must be accessible to people with disabilities", she said. "I'm very impressed with the work of the team "Harmony", which understands that the world is necessary to equip to the needs of people with disabilities", – said the partner of the project, the President of the international charity Fund "Without border" Elena Pavlova. The author of the project Lyudmila Necky hope that with time he will acquire an international character and people with disabilities will be able to travel around the world.
