15 Jun, Chairman of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Serhiy Mashkovsky is on a working visit on Penske cardboard and paper factory in Khmelnytskyi region. During the visit, the head of the region together with environmentalists region, representatives of sanitary-epidemiological service, the leadership of Baranivsky district and the company management visited the sewage treatment plant Penske factory. Also, the Chairman of regional state administration examined the state of the river Homora in the town of Pershotravensk of Baranivsky district and on the border of Zhytomyr and Khmelnytsky regions. Now the condition of the river is much better, it started rebuilding themselves. Sergey Mashkovsky said that now the priority is to stop the accumulation of harmful substances in the rivers and liquidation of consequences of pollution. Side during the round table worked out joint solutions to the problems regarding the environmental situation with the pollution of rivers. In particular, determine the list of measures to eliminate pollution of the river Homora and prevention of pollution of the basin of the river Sluch.
