In the Pension Fund of the region, as of June 15 of the current year on the account is 491600 pensioners, of which 102574 are persons with disabilities, or 20.8 percent of the total number of pensioners. Disability pension due to employment injury or occupational disease is getting 1446 persons, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens which suffered owing to Chernobyl catastrophe" - 2376 persons with disabilities. The average pension persons with disabilities (irrespective of type of pension) is 1476,85 USD, which is below the average pension size, which has developed in the region (1504,95 USD ). The pension provision of persons with disabilities and the provision of services by the bodies of the Foundation shall be in accordance with applicable law and subject to the requirements of the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities. Special attention is given to persons with disability among internally displaced persons, participants of the antiterrorist operation.
