Vinnicchina: Trostyaneckiy opened a leisure center for seniors (+photos)
13 June, with the participation of the President of Fund "Eastern Europe" Viktor Lyakh, coordinator of social projects of the company "Monsanto Ukraine" Yulia Troshko and the Deputy of Vinnytsia regional Council, the Chairman of the constant Commission on questions of local government and administrative-territorial structure, European integration, international and interregional cooperation of Larissa Bilozir and Chairman of Trostyanets rayon state administration Leonid Lobanya, on the basis of Trostyanetsky centre held a Grand opening of a leisure Center for the elderly. Only the implementation of the project was granted 157 thousand UAH. For the money, purchased the projector, office equipment, medical equipment, and Windows were replaced. Also, by textile design, and purchased additional equipment. The new center established clubs, namely, computer, literary and circle crafts. The organization of the work of the clubs will involve volunteers who previously received training. Also, the centers were equipped with 5 rooms, where the services of a lawyer, doctor, social workers, a hairdresser. Project Manager Larisa Bilozir noted that the centers should become a place where older people can spend their time. "The man who lived to a ripe old age, worthy of respect even if only because it is by the grace of God managed. Therefore, the opening of these leisure centres is a manifestation of our respect for the older generation to their wisdom and experience! It's a place where lonely people can communicate, engage in Hobbies and participate in numerous classes and learn new skills. The project was implemented about 2 months and within that time section computernov learning, crafts and literature 55 people attending! And it's really very capable people, with active life position, who are active participants in the cultural and social life of the district. It is very important that the conditions for the development of the elderly and the already impressive results, it is planned charity exhibition with petrasko paintings, dolls motano, the members present even in the power-point are registered in social networks and create their own e-mail. And what struck me was that all very capable and very quick to learn," said Larisa Bilozir. Recall that the East Europe Foundation already financed the creation of 30 leisure Centres across Ukraine for low-income single elderly.
