In Lutsk hosted a meeting of the working group of the project "COMUS"

15 June 2016 held a Working group meeting of the project "Urban strategies in historic towns, to the citizens" (COMUS) in the city of Lutsk with a group of community activists working on issues of cultural and historical heritage. The meeting was attended by the project leader COMUS in Ukraine Oleksandr butsenko, a project Manager in Lutsk Tatiana Gnativ, national project coordinator COMUS Valentina Damian, the members of the working group and local stakeholder groups. During the meeting the sides touched upon the problematic issues in the sphere of preservation of cultural heritage, the way of achieving a shared vision of the proposed project idea or initiative. The participants of the meeting stressed the desire and need of dialogue of the different groups of the local community in the formation of strategic plans. Help: COMUS is a joint project of the Council of Europe and the European Union, implemented simultaneously in 6 countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus. The project involves a complex interaction of authorities of all levels and local communities to improve the urban environment, aimed at developing innovative models of urban planning that contribute to the solution of practical problems in historical cities.
