In the conference hall of the hotel complex "Gustavia" held an open seminar on the theme: "current state of Affairs and ways to reduce the cost of lighting in the cities. The seminar was attended by first Deputy Chairman of Vinnytsia regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko, representatives of the Association of business partnerships and cooperation "Light of Ukraine", the representative of the Nordic environment Finance Corporation NEFCO Vladimir Deboy, member-correspondent of National Academy of public administration under the President of Ukraine, candidate of technical Sciences Viktor Sorokin, representatives of manufacturers of lighting equipment and suppliers of light sources, the experts on energy saving and led lighting. Welcoming the participants, Andrew Gyzhko noted that such a seminar is needed, because in such events you can discuss the issues of improvement and a new introduction in the field of led lighting: "the Situation on the energy market in Ukraine in General is improving and changing for the better. To achieve the expected results, it is necessary to constantly inform the population about the need to save electricity, look for various innovations in this field and to introduce new technologies. The joint efforts of all professionals and the implementation of the proposed new energy efficiency projects will provide an opportunity for Ukraine to implement a significant step forward," the official said. During the meeting the parties discussed the issue of obtaining reliable lighting equipment, specific measures to reduce the cost of urban and industrial lighting, to attract funding from foreign environmental funds and improvement of road lighting. According to Viktor Sorokin, the holding of such a workshop is quite relevant, because the energy problem for each country. "According to analysis by the International Energy Agency , the energy used for lighting in European countries is 19%. Therefore, Ukraine is topical as never before is the creation of lighting technologies that not only provide high quality lighting, but saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions," - said Viktor Sorokin.
