Stepan Barna: "We are actively working towards the support of the ATO participants and their families."

In the Unified state automated register of persons entitled to benefits, in the Ternopil region made 3157 citizens, who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the East. 53 of them disabled veterans. This was announced by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna, during a meeting on military-civil cooperation. "We work actively in support of the ATO participants and their families. So, 121 people have been eligible for benefits as a family member of the deceased veteran, the head of the region. From the beginning of the antiterrorist operation in medical institutions of the region applied for and received qualified medical care 1449 participants of the ATO. The region has a number of specialized centers, in addition to comprehensive medical care deals with psychological rehabilitation. Social centers have generally provided support 2424 families in this category." The meeting was held at the initiative of the office of civil-military cooperation the Armed forces of Ukraine, the Council of volunteers under the Ministry of defense of Ukraine. It was attended by representatives of local authorities, members of the Council, ATO, volunteers, priests, military personnel, representatives of the Ministry of defense and Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regional military registration and enlistment offices. Those present discussed the organization of work with families of the Armed forces of Ukraine, who have gone missing or died. And their comprehensive support, social and psychological rehabilitation.
