In Lutsk Deputy mayor Sergei Grigorenko awarded commemorative medals “70 years of Victory over Nazism,”
In the conference room of the city Council held a solemn presentation of commemorative medals to the victims during the Second world war. Sergei Grigorenko conveyed sincere greetings to all present on behalf of mayor Nicholas Romaniuk, and wished the veterans in the first place, health, prosperity, harmony in the family and peace to our country. After words of welcome Sergey Grigorenko presented veteran jubilee medal “70 years of Victory over Nazism”. According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine, this award was awarded to combatants and disabled war veterans who took part in the fighting, defense, guerrilla, clandestine movement against Nazi Germany and its allies during the Second world war. In General, their awards from the hands of the Deputy mayor received 25. Along with jubilee medal the veterans received certificates to insignia of the President of Ukraine.
