Lutsk: the "East of culture" - a shared history,present and future!
The delegation from the city consisting of three city Council members Julia Bosenko Nicholas Ruchika and Natalia Bundi on invitation of the President of rzesz?w Tadeusz Ferenc took part in the celebrations of the Polish-Ukrainian cultural project "European stadium of culture, which was held in Rzeszow on June 23-26, 2016. "The East of culture is a project that brings together the three largest cities of the Eastern border of Poland: bia?ystok, rzesz?w and Lublin. Each city holds its own individual festival and a series of artistic and creative events. The scale of the current "East of culture" is really big. The dominant theme is the Ukrainian culture, so during the festival days in three cities in Poland will meet with Ukrainian artists, to get acquainted with the Ukrainian cinema and contemporary art. 23-26 June in rzesz?w in the framework of the "Eastern cultures" hosted by the European stadium of culture, Lublin – from 6 to 10 July will be held the festival "Different sound" (Inne Brzmienia) and in bia?ystok – 1-4 September, the festival "Another dimension" (Inny Wymiar). The project involves 57 institutions and organizations, will take 140 of the most diverse performances and concerts, where you can find about 550 artists and performers from around the world. Most important, every event, every action is a presentation of the cultural potential of the Eastern regions of Poland, exchange of experience between artists of Ukraine and Poland and drawing attention to the shared historical roots of these regions. So, in Rzeszow with their concert programs played the musical group "AtmAsfera", "The Hardkiss" and the winner of the Eurovision song contest in 2016 – Jamal. In addition to participating in official events on the occasion of the opening of the "European stadium of culture", the delegation of Lutsk city Council had a number of meetings to exchange experience with Polish colleagues. Thus, in particular, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Council of the city of rzesz?w by Andrzej Dec and a member of the Council of the city of Rzeszow Miroslav Kvasnica on which the Polish colleagues shared their experience regarding the implementation of the public budget in Rzeszow. The public budget provides for the active involvement of citizens in the development of the city, the implementation of public of public benefit initiatives at the expense of the city budget.
