According to the specified order in August of this year was supposed to carry out competitions on replacement of vacant posts of heads of five agencies of education. In this regard, the Department of education of the city Council decided not to renew the contract with the leaders of the five institutions with the term of the contract ended on June 30, TS.g. Teachers and parent committees of these five institutions approached the mayor with the request to postpone the competition to the heads of the agencies had an opportunity to more thoroughly prepare for participation in the competition or to prepare a worthy replacement, capable of getting a positive result in the competition Commission. There was also dissatisfaction with the lack of clear criteria by which elected institutions for priority of holding such competitions. Mayor Alex Kaspruk suggested to pass on competitive principles for the appointment of heads of educational institutions from next year, teachers and parent committees to join the improved Order of carrying out of competitions, including the introduction of additional conditions, which will provide additional points to heads of schools and kindergartens, which have high performance. The proposal of the mayor was supported by the majority of the participants. Thus, next year all heads of schools and preschools, which ends the labour contract, will be able to re-occupy their positions only by results of competition. June 30 this year, the duration of the employment contract was completed in 20 heads of preschools and 16 schools. The seven Directors of schools contract extended for one year, nine for 3 years. Six head of gardens the contract is extended for 1 year, 14 head – on 3 years. One head of school or kindergarten contract this year is not stopped. The following year, on a competitive basis in Chernivtsi will be assigned at least 13 heads of educational institutions, which this year extended the contract for one year only. The conditions of holding such competitions after revision with the participation of pedagogues and parents will be announced before the new year, which will enable all candidates to prepare for participation in the exam on equal terms.
