The Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region initiated pre-trial investigation on the fact of illegal storage of police weapons and ammunition
the Prosecutor's office together with employees of management of internal security in the Vinnytsia oblast Department of homeland security, the National police of Ukraine 05.07.2016 conducted a household survey of an ordinary battalion of special purpose "winery" Main Directorate of the National police in the Vinnitsa region in sec. Kordelivka Kalinowski district of Vinnitsa region. By results of the carried-out investigative actions it is established that this officer kept without lawful authority carabiner brand «Fort-207"; 840 cartridges calibres of 7.62, 12.7 and 9 mm; 5 stores to different kinds of weapons. On this fact the Prosecutor's office began pre-judicial investigation on signs of the criminal offense under part 1 St. 263 criminal code of Ukraine. Currently, forensic ballistics, conducted a number of urgent investigative (search) actions directed on establishment of all about the’exception, the circumstances of the criminal offense, the results of which will decide the question of notice to the person about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense. The punishment for specified criminal offence involving deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.
