Sentence of the Uzhgorod city district court sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment of the citizen of Ukraine who is reasonably accused of smuggling narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors (part 1 of. article 305 of the criminal code). The Prosecutor's office in Transcarpathian region supported the state charge concerning the citizen of Ukraine in court and it was proved that the man committed the smuggling of psychotropic substance “met” 0,0398 g - that is, the movement across the customs border of Ukraine with concealment from customs control. He was found guilty of the offence and sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 5 years, however, the court exempted him from serving the main sentence and probation for 2 years.
