Vinnytsia regional branch of the International public organization "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" presented a unique local history project "Europeans Vinnytsia region" which is implemented with financial support from the regional budget. Recall that the public organization "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" became one of 12 winners of the competition to determine the programs developed by institutions of civil society, which provides financial support in 2016 at the expense of means of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA. The aim of the project is the synthesis, dissemination and popularization of historical information about famous European leaders that they were born or at one time or another lived in Podolia, by creating a historical-tourist maps, conducting interactive events and organization of press-tour to the places that are directly related to the "European region". "The project will cover two categories of historical figures: famous Europeans who lived on the territory of Vinnytsia region and the inhabitants of Podillya region, which as a result of his activities became known to the Europeans," – said Chairman of the NGO, the international NGO "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" Alexey Gavrilov. The project is planned to create a range of informational materials. First of all, this is a map of size 2*3 meter, which legend will contain a geographical name in the territory of the Vinnytsia region is tied to a historical figure. After the completion of a project of this brand-wall will be transferred to the Vinnytsia regional Museum of local lore. "Cards of a smaller format and booklets, which is planned to produce about 4,000 will be distributed to institutions of culture and education in the region, and also sent to our foreign partners of the project", – said Alexey Gavrilov.
