Representation of the interests of children and the state in the field of child protection is one of priority directions of work of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region
In the first half of 2016, authorities of Prosecutor's office of area in the court before the’revealed 38 cases on the protection of children's rights and state interests in the sphere of protection of childhood. With the beginning of the year, the courts granted 22 claims for a total amount of 489 thousand UAH, of them have already entered into force for the sum of 463 thousand and made UAH 489 thousand UAH. By results of consideration of pred's revealed claims of bodies of Prosecutor's office of area protected the rights of the nearly 2,000 children. At the principled position of the Prosecutor satisfied the claims for damages caused by a criminal offence; the recognition of property rights on inherited property; recognition of the inheritance escheated; a ban on the disposal of assets; the recovery of paid care to children whose parents evade paying alimony; on recognition of illegal omission and the adoption of measures regarding the safe movement of vehicles outside the schools areas. One of the priority directions of activity of the Prosecutor is to protect property and housing rights of children. So, this year, before the’javlenie prosecutors claims, 9 children have received housing or land after the death of their parents that is estimated at more than 300 thousand UAH; 5 orphan children took ownership of the property with a total value of over 160 thousand hryvnias. However, prosecutors accepted measures to protect the interests of the state in the field of child protection. During the first half of this year in the courts before'revealed 19 claims totaling 13 million 450 thousand UAH. Of which the courts have already granted 10 claims in the amount of 140 thousand UAH. Intensification of work on protection of children's rights and state interests in the sphere of protection of children continues.
