The team of Lutsk became the champion of Ukraine beach handball
From 1st to 5th July in Yuzhno ten teams from eight Ukrainian regions fought for medals of the championship of Ukraine on beach handball. For the national team in beach handball this competition has become the main stage of preparation for the world championship in Hungary, but the players of the Junior team (2000 ad and younger) checked their hand before the European championship which will pass in Portugal. The teams were divided into two groups. In group A teams competed: "Portovik", "Tomashpil'", "Poltava", "Kharkiv" and "South-1". The team of the city of Lutsk were in group In together with commands: "Ternopil", "Novovolynsk", "lions" and "South-2". Having won a victory over all rivals, Lutsk athletes took first place in the group and continued the fight for the medals. In the 1/4 final team M. of luck with the score 2:0 beat the team of "Tomashpil'", and in 1/2 final, the team from the city of Poltava. In the final our players met with the countrymen, a team from the city of miners "ipb" in persistent struggle has won a victory with the account 2:1, and with it the title of Champions of the championship of Ukraine on beach handball in 2016. The second place team from the city of miners, and the bronze medal went to home team - "South-1". On solemn closing of competitions the President of the Odesa regional handball Federation Sergei Grinevetsky thanked the athletes for participating in the championship and awarded trophies and medals to the winners. At the end of the competition the head coaches of the Junior and men's national team announced the list of the youth and men's national teams of Ukraine. Pleased to note that the main national men's team were three Lucian, namely: Yuri of shamrilo, Vladislav Parovinchak and Nicholas Shnitov, who will participate in the world championship in Hungary.
