Each year, the residents come to him to send a memorial to honor the memory of the victims. On this memorable day in zalishchyky attracts visitors from across Western Ukraine – Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi regions. In Soviet times claimed that the bridge was blown up by German saboteurs, but in fact the Germans occupied the territory on July 14, and the tragedy occurred Ortona 5-7 July (exact not given). On the railway there were four wagons with barred Windows. The train across the bridge was passed, and the cars with people standing. I have climbed the hill and everything was clearly visible. Finally the locomotive picked up cars with people, followed by another 6-7 cars. The whole echelon was moved to the bridge. Security, officers, the driver left the train and headed in the direction Zalishchyky station. The driver was somewhat indignant because the officer pushed him in the chest, brandished a revolver. And after about 10 minutes a terrible explosion lifted the cars over the bridge. The next moment they soared into the water. On top of them fell down a chimney. At this point, the water seemed to be boiling, hot for boilers and steam heated to a high temperature. Those that were at the top of the water, just cooked alive. The sight was terrible.
