Investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region held a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of extortion and receiving officials Ladyzhyn penitentiary ¹ 39 UPTS in Vinnytsia region undue advantage. It is established that they, acting intentionally, by previous concert by a group of persons, authentically knowing about the presence of persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty is prohibited to use items for illicit enrichment, from selfish motives, in the period from January 2016 to 07.07.2016 systematically demanded and got from convicts serving sentence in a penal colony, for improper advantage for non-registration violations of the regime of detention in places of deprivation of liberty, illegal providing long-term and short-term visits (through incentives), the use of prohibited items (mobile phones and sim cards). Officials Ladyzhyn penitentiary ¹ 39 detained in order St. 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine and reported about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine, is currently ongoing pre-trial investigation aimed at about’objectively establishing the circumstances of the criminal offense. For the committed criminal offence punishable by imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years with confiscation of property and with deprivation of the right to hold certain posts or practice certain activities for a term up to three years.
