So, 07.07.2016 Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office together with employees of the Vinnytsia Department of police and internal security of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Vinnitsa region, conducted a special operation to identify and suppress the activities of the institutions which provided services in the field of illegal gambling in the regional center. Law enforcement officers conducted 16 simultaneous searches in every neighborhood of the city. “the Institutions in which searches were carried out, worked like “casino”, people paid a lot of money to play in virtual games, - says the Prosecutor of Vinnytsia region’Vyacheslav Sokolovi during a special operation to identify and suppress the activities of the institutions which provided services in the field of illegal gambling in the regional center law enforcement officers found 296 monitors, system blocks 286, 112 flash storage, 15 cash settlement terminal, 29 Wi-Fi routers, 30 cameras detectors of banknotes and almost 500 Odense other office equipment. Also seized documents relating to the activities of gambling establishments, “black book” and 43 741 hryvnia illegally obtained profits". Currently, in the framework of criminal proceedings on the procedural management in Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office, are held urgent investigative actions aimed at a comprehensive, full and impartial investigation of the circumstances of the criminal offense, the persons involved in the organisation of activity of gambling institutions. Such raids will continue, if the fans of illegal gambling will not stop.
