"To prevent introduction of the pathogen into the territory of the region and improve the efficiency of preventive measures of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the regional state administration should permanently monitor the situation in the region", - said Andrey Geico. To ensure the unconditional implementation of previous decisions of the State extraordinary antiepizootic commissions under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and regional state administration to prevent the introduction of the pathogen into the territory of Ukraine and the region and improve the efficiency of preventive measures of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the regional state administration decided: 1. Strengthen veterinary and sanitary control over the movement of live pigs and pork products, food markets and markets for trade of live animals and also for the backyard slaughter of animals. 6. To take urgent measures for the disposal of waste food from public eating places and leisure facilities and to prevent their use for feeding pigs. 7. To ensure control over the observance by all business entities regardless of ownership and subordination, which activity is connected with the contents, slaughter and processing of pigs and their products, veterinary-sanitary legislation, in particular regarding the "closed" mode of operation, in case of impossibility of execution, to suspend their activities in accordance with applicable law. 8. To create a joint mobile working group for monitoring the movement of controlled goods on the roads of the region. 9. To continue the explanatory work among the population and pet owners about the dangers of ASF and measures of biological protection of private farms of citizens and businesses, whose activity is connected with the turnover of pigs. 10. To develop and implement at the level of local authorities in the program of substitution of pigs for alternative species. The programs take into account incentive measures. To attach to the work of large-scale pork producers. 11. Continue to monitor circulation of the causative agent of ASF among wild and domestic pigs. In Kirovohrad, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions of ASF was registered for the first time. Recent cases of African swine fever was 07.06.2016 in FKH "Friendship of peoples" in s. Dovzhok Novoselytsia district, Chernivtsi region, 28.06.2016 on a private farm "guerrilla spark".
