So, beginning July 1, pensions (including the amount of indexing) or a monthly lifetime allowance, which exceed 10 sizes of the subsistence minimum for persons incapacitated will be subject to taxation on such excess (in 2016, this amount is 10740 Gren.). The excess amount will be taxed on incomes of physical persons at the rate of 18 percent. Accordingly, this part of income is also taxable military training at the rate of 1.5 percent. It is worth noting that previously were subject to tax pensions that exceed three minimum wages established for January 1 of the reporting year (UAH 4134. in 2016). Innovations do not apply to pensions that are assigned to combatants, war invalids and persons referred to in article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection".
