This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Oleg Shafts during a press conference with the presentation of changes in long-term plan of formation of territories of communities in Ternopil region. "Long-term plan is being finalized and improved. To this end, since June 8, the region operated two working groups, which provided legal and policy advice in virtually all potential centres and selected communities. Conducted about 25 meetings during which the identified specific suggestions to the Prospective plan of formation of territories of communities of the region. They were considered at the meeting of the relevant working group, and suggestions were made for consideration by regional Council with subsequent submission to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, — said Oleg Shafts. — The vast majority of United communities now enter into consultations concerning the accession of new rural councils, that is ready to expand. In General, the region proposed form 49 United communities: establish 24 new communities and expand existing 18". By the way, the combined communities of the region the government has allocated a subvention in the amount of 141554,4 thousand hryvnia. In addition, the expected international assistance from the US government and the EU for projects in the infrastructure sphere, creating Snapw and training, said Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration. We will remind, on the territory of the region 26 is formed by the combined territorial communities, covering 27% of the territory, 167 tips from 615 village, settlement and city councils (283 villages) and 229 thousand population.
