Chernigov: Budget participation in action: the improvement of the beach near the hotel "Bryansk"
as part of the Public budget participation, Management of housing and communal services of Chernihiv city Council is implementing a project, funded by the city budget, namely the improvement of the coastal zone near the hotel "Bryansk" in Chernigov. With purpose of improvement of recreational areas, according to signed contracts with contractors, currently the works on the inspection of the bottom of the river Desna value of 25,0 thousand UAH. Work continues on the emergency sawing and fautny (diseased) trees, removing overgrown and cordovano stumps on the river cost 125,0 thousand UAH. scheduled to be completed by early next week. Followed by the work on improvement of the coastal zone of the Desna river, the delivery of sand cost 120, 0 thousand UAH. and maintenance of equipment worth 85, 0 thousand UAH. Today, every resident of the city of Chernihiv has the opportunity to participate in enhanced comfort of living and recreation in his hometown, in the framework of the budget participation, according to the project "Participatory budget – opportunities for increasing public activity and the establishment of appropriate partnerships with the authorities", which is implemented in Chernigiv.
