In the Museum under the open sky took place "Bukovynski zustrichi"
the international folklore festival "Bukovynian meetings" took place this weekend in Chernivtsi. For the first time for celebrations has chosen a new site – Museum of architecture and life. Five teams from Romania, Poland and Moldova, as well as 18 Bukovynian folk ensembles participated in the festival. Since the founding of the "Bukovynian meetings" it's been 27 years, and in Chernivtsi a festival "registered" since 1999. "International festival "Bukovynian meetings" – long-awaited and beloved holiday of Chernivtsi residents. have a great opportunity to talk to Bukovina from many countries to present their art together to sing and dance. This year for the first time in the festival – presentation and tasting of the national dishes of all countries-participants of the festival – congratulated the participants of the festival in Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk and wished good mood and unforgettable impressions to all guests. After the presentation by each team of their dance rooms, guests gathered at different venues – in the yards of old houses, which presented Bukovynian cuisine, feasted, danced and sang. Also, the festival participants and guests collected funds for treatment of children with cancer. About 7 thousand UAH will go to help little from Chernivtsi "Bukovina meetings".
