Journalists in Zhytomyr region will cover the issues of European integration

22-23 July 2016, the project "Stronger together" of the European Union delegation in Ukraine will hold for journalists in Zhitomir, Zhitomir region and Central Ukraine: "European Integration: what you need to know to journalists?". Participants in this training will gain additional knowledge and skills for the more correct and complete coverage of European integration, in particular in connection with the process of European integration is internal reforms in Ukraine. The training program involves the following questions: * relations between the EU and Ukraine in the context of the current political situation in Ukraine; * the impact of European integration on the Ukrainian economy; * EU-Ukraine-Russia: war and the Minsk agreement. The issue of sanctions against Russia; * British and Dutch referendums and their impact on the future of Europe and Ukraine; * visa and the prospects of visa-free regime with the EU; * the main mistakes and stereotypes of journalists in the coverage of European topics; * projects and programs of the EU in the Zhytomyr region; * transparency and access to information in the context of European reforms; * decentralization and local government reform in the context of European reforms. Location: Zhitomir, Reikartz (Maidan Castle 5/8) Dates: 22-23 July, 10.00 – 18.00. To apply for participation in the training need to fill out a QUESTIONNAIRE. The deadline for submission of applications is July 19, 2016, 18.00. Participants from outside the city the organizers will provide accommodation (1 night), meals and, if tickets (compartment ticket in both parties), reimburse the cost of travel.
