Rivne oblast: rescuers together with farmers take care of crops protection from fire
Summer – strict examiner fire safety, especially when lasts song is a perfect match campaign. One of these checks took place on July 19 in DP DG “Belokrinitskoy” Rivne district showed that the harvesters, who harvest the grain crops, provided with primary fire extinguishing means: fire extinguishers, shovels and “crackers”. On grain massifs is special equipment with water supplies and tractors with plows. When dealing with farmers who work in the field, the rescuers made sure that didn't ignore the head of this enterprise is a crucial issue, as the conduct before the beginning of the field work training of fire-technical minimum of people who take part in the harvest and harvesting of forage. During the RAID, the workers of fire-saving service not only checked the compliance with fire safety regulations, but gave the visual propaganda of the basic rules of fire safety during the harvesting campaign. Main Department of State service of Ukraine for emergency situations calls upon the population and the sub’objects of economic activity to adhere to the rules of fire safety during harvest and storage of crops. The main causes of fire during harvest can be: careless handling of fire, violation of rules of exploitation of machines and aggregates, burning stubble. During this period, the slightest spark from farm machinery or a cigarette butt thrown can lead to large-scale fire. Therefore, compliance with the rules of fire safety is a reliable guarantee that the harvest we will gather without losses!
