Yuri Kerekes has lived a difficult, but amazingly eventful life – emigration to America, obtaining medical education in Budapest and Philology in Khemisset, work in the newspaper "Zakarpatska Pravda", acting in called (where the artist found his chosen one, with whom he lived 61 years), exclusion from the ranks of the Communist party as "a slanderer of Soviet reality", teaching in the Transcarpathian province participate in the "Plast" and "Lumen", etc. Extremely interesting pages of family biographies opened to present the writer's daughter, Olga Novikova, who seems to have inherited the literary talent of his father. He noted that the meeting, which was really interesting, is a rehearsal for the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Yuri Kerekesha and for the upcoming anniversary figure of the writer belongs to immortalize not only in literary journals, but a monument.
