In the Rivne region, as throughout Ukraine continues a period of extreme fire danger. Failure to observe the rules of fire safety (the burning of dead wood, careless handling of fire, outstanding match, a cigarette butt) during this period can cause large-scale forest and peat’drunken fires. So, just the other day employees of service of rescue of region had to extinguish dry grass, reeds and stubble in the open area in Zdolbunovska, Dubno, and Rovno Blinowska areas. But in General, since the beginning of summer, rescuers have eliminated 25 fires on a total area of almost 9 hectares. The main Directorate DSNS in Rivne region once again appeals to citizens asking them not to provoke fires in the ecosystems, the forests and observe the basic rules of safety while camping. During the fire season is prohibited: - a campfire in the woods and plantations, except that the floor’connected with the technological requirements of the forest management activities in specially designated places; - arrival on the territory of forest Fund (except transit) vehicles and other mechanisms, except those used for forestry purposes; to smoke, throw in the woods and plantations of the outstanding matches, cigarette butts; - leave in the forest impregnated with gasoline, kerosene, oil or other flammable substances gancher’I; - fill in forest plantations fuel tanks during engine operation; - burn grass and other plant debris on the forest lands, agricultural lands, and other land, immediately adjacent to the forest.
