In Lutsk honored the memory'Yat outstanding poetess Lesya Ukrainka

On the Theatre square of Lutsk held a memorial service and laying flowers to the monument to Lesia Ukrainka on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the death of the poet. Participation in the event was attended by Deputy mayor Andrew Kish, head of the Department of education of Lutsk city Council Oleg Grebenyuk, writers and literary critics, representatives of enterprises, institutions and citizens of the city. The clergy of the UOC-KP held a service near the monument to Lesia Ukrainka. Later, the participants took part in laying the flowers. Deputy mayor Andrej Kiska said that the works of Lesya Ukrainka are very relevant today, because they represent the unbridled will and the struggle of Ukrainians for their independence. “Lesja Ukrainka is a symbol of the Ukrainian people, and we are extremely pleased that she is golinenko. We're proud to call her a hero of our land, remember, and every year honor the memory of her,” he added. Chairman of the Volyn regional organization of the National Union of writers of Ukraine Olga Lasnik, reciting the works of the poet, has reminded everyone that it is a strong word will help us to become those knights who were for Ukraine, this fragile woman. At the end of the meeting participants were invited on 7 August to go in the tract of Nechymne, which will be a poetic-artistic festival "Forest song", dedicated to the memory of the poet.
