August 2, in the conference hall of the regional state administration took place the first organizational meeting of the coordination Council for development of civil society, which was established in accordance with the decree of the President of Ukraine of February 26, 2016 No. 68/2016 "On promoting the development of civil society in Ukraine" with the aim of involving the public in the formation and implementation of state and regional policy and decision of questions of local value. "The Coordination Council included representatives of all sectors of society in Vinnytsia region, representatives of the authorities and the public", – noted the Director of Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration Svetlana Vasilyuk. "The main goal – maximize the active work of civil society institutions in the region," she added. "Public Parliament is ready to share the experience with the newly formed Coordinating Council on topical issues of development of civil society", – said the Chairman of Public Council at regional state administration Mykhailo Bardin. "I am glad that our society is becoming more active every year. It is necessary that every citizen understood that he was important, and it will be heard", – said the head of Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" Raisa Panasyuk. The coordination Council on development of civil society will meet quarterly during the year. "We are obliged to turn out well-established mechanisms for communication between government and society," – said the head of the center of development of investment potential and resources of Vinnytsia regional Association of local authorities Andrey Camunez. "And the formation of new investment wealthy territorial communities should be one of the activities of this Council," he added. "Our goal is really to allow public organizations to participate in the adoption of power-state decisions", – said the head of Vinnytsia regional branch of all-Ukrainian Union "Civil Parliament of women of Ukraine" Tatyana Pachina. According to the acting rector of the Vinnitsa state pedagogical University N. Kotsyubinskogo Natalia Lazarenko, the Coordinating Council is one of those bodies, which aims to build "a society of equals among equals."
