Employees of the security Service of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor and Nazpary exposed the systematic receiving of bribes the chief phytosanitary inspector Zhitomir and his subordinates. About it reports a Press-USB group of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region. The powers of the chief inspector of the Department of Demirtzoglou includes the exclusive right to issue the compliance certificates required for the export of timber and products of vegetable origin. Employees of special services has documented that the officer together with a specialist laboratory studies demanded money for the smooth passage of phytosanitary control and issuance of certificates for most exporters, was registered in Zhitomir. The size of the bribe depended on the volume of products and ranged from three hundred to three thousand hryvnias. According to preliminary estimates, the average monthly income of criminals amounted to one hundred thousand hryvnia. Employees of SB of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor and the police detained the chief inspector and assistant in the offices after the counting of days ' wages in the amount of five thousand hryvnias. During searches in a residence of malefactors militiamen withdrew seven thousand dollars, recording the dates and amounts received bribes.
