the Cabinet meet one of the requirements of the Decree of the President concerning the admission of children of deceased members of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine for training in higher educational institutions for the state budget. This was stated by the Representative of the President in the Government, First Deputy Head of the presidential Administration Vitaliy Kovalchuk, commenting on the adoption by the Cabinet of Ministers decree on "Some issues of admission to UNIVERSITIES to certain categories of citizens". According to Vitaly Kovalchuk, the Cabinet of Ministers has fulfilled the norm of the decree of the President of Ukraine "On urgent measures to provide additional social guarantees to separate categories of citizens". "Now, children, parents or one of whose parents was killed while participating in anti-terrorist operations, while protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, or died as a result of wounds or contusions, are enrolled to study in higher educational establishments in the limits of the state order", - said Vitaliy Kovalchuk. According to the first Deputy of the presidential Administration, the implementation of the presidential Decree will significantly strengthen the guarantees of social protection of the ATO participants and their families. "The President is pursuing a consistent policy of increasing the level of social protection of Ukrainians and welcomed the steps the Cabinet of Ministers towards the implementation of the said Decree. According to the President it will greatly enhance the responsibilities of the State towards its defenders and to improve the overall welfare level of our citizens" - summed up Vitaliy Kovalchuk.
