In the Ternopil region on trafficking in persons discussed at the seminar - training
02-03 August sixth two-day seminar - training on project "Introduction of mechanism of interaction of subjects carrying out activities in the sphere of combating trafficking in persons, including children, in the Ternopil region. The participants of the event were the representatives of the subjects of the National mechanism of interaction of Terebovlya district and precinct inspectors services preventive activities of GU NP in the Ternopil region. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of foreign Affairs canadian International development Agency, the United States and representative offices of the International organization for migration (IOM) in Ukraine. It is important to emphasize an integrated approach and relevance of the training. The coaches had an objective approach in its coverage of human trafficking as a shameful phenomenon of our time, and gave both theoretical aspects and practical, containing information necessary for the identification of victims of trafficking. Also an important aspect of educational activity was the work, which included conducting a needs assessment and preparation of rehabilitation plan for the affected person. It should be noted that the participants, working with cases, in which were collected the true history of the victims, spoke with the utmost humanity and sympathy. It is the indifference of state institutions, law enforcement agencies and non-governmental organizations can cause a counter reaction of the audience and facilitate maximum cooperation in eradicating the phenomenon of trafficking. This, in turn, will increase the number of persons who apply for obtaining the status of victims of trafficking.
