Rivne oblast: rescuers help farmers to protect the crop from fire
5 August employees dubenskogo district sector of GU DSNS of Ukraine in the Rovno area with the purpose of prevention of emergence of fires on grain massifs made regular checks of agricultural enterprises of the district. Separately, rescuers reminded the farmers to ban the burning of stubble and crop residues, kindling fires, use of fire in the grain fields and in their vicinity and on zernotok, procurement centers, grain elevators, next to the stacks of straw and hay. The main causes of fire during harvest can be: careless handling of fire, violation of rules of exploitation of machines and aggregates, burning stubble. During this period, the slightest spark from farm machinery or a cigarette butt thrown can lead to large-scale fire.
