In Chernihiv developed a new Strategy for the development of the city according to the order of the mayor. At the meeting of the working group on the development Strategy of Chernigov, which was held on August 3, Deputy mayor Oleksandr Lomako noted that the city Strategy must be first of all realistic, and secondly, aimed at changing the quality of life in our city in a positive way. The city development strategy developed for the period until 2020. According to the Law of Ukraine "On fundamentals of state regional policy" Strategy of development of the city must comply with the State Strategy, approved until 2020. Oleksandr Lomako: - We are witnessing the extraordinary dynamics of historical and political processes in our country, so the situation is changing so that to speak about the correct approach to long-term strategic planning would probably be wrong. The working group has identified a list of strategic sessions to develop industry SWOT that are planned to be held during August – September of the current year. (SWOT– analysis and definition of the goals and objectives of the aforementioned Strategy). Oleksandr Lomako instructed to determine public associations, enterprises, organizations of the city that it is expedient to involve in this work. As previously reported, on April 23 in Chernihiv held the first Strategic session for the development of the city. It took deputies, chiefs of profile managements, community activists and the residents of the city. The next step would be carrying out sessions of strategic planning on priorities, working groups will be established with representatives from city government, business and society to work on strategic development priorities of the city, is the best training in modern methods of project implementation. Oleksandr Lomako made suggestions for each office until the end of September to do a SWOT analysis of the fixed industry and to make proposals for a strategic vision to solve existing problems in the city. "There is still public discussion, presentations and introduction of the document developed for consideration by the session of the Chernihiv city Council," - said the Deputy mayor.
