Asked to set a price limit for the solid fuel at the level of 2000 UAH per 1 ton of solid fuel (that's for 23.5% more than in the previous year) and 200 UAH in one cylinder of liquefied gas. In General, the amount of the subsidy has increased three times than it was before. These social guarantees, unlike others, are in cash. "To implement this solution, it is necessary to increase the size of subventions from the state budget for 1 billion 300 million UAH, thus the total volume will amount to 2.5 billion UAH", – grounded social policy Minister Andriy Reva. According to the Minister, housing subsidies are calculated for the year based on the cost of 2 tons of coal, and 2-4 cylinders of liquefied gas, depending on the family composition and benefits – the cost of 1 ton of coal and 1 tank of liquefied gas. In 2016 1 ton of coal worth UAH 90 kopecks. 1532, 1 tank of gas – 196 UAH 50 kopecks. The costs of increasing the social guarantees will be provided by reallocating funds for the provision of benefits and subsidies for payment of housing and communal services accumulated in the accounts of enterprises, service providers at the end of the heating season of 2015-2016, in connection with the misuse of public expenditures and subsidies due to the warm winter – about 11 billion UAH.
