In the Ternopil region, Stepan Barna presented state awards to natives of Lemko
During the XVII all-Ukrainian festival of Lemko culture "Bells of Lemko" the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna presented state awards to natives of Lemko. In particular, for the excellent performance, dedication, professionalism and impeccable military discipline the head of the region presented the medal For service to Ukraine" of 15 military personnel: Victor Lash, Stephen Gulacy, Michael Cones, Victor Duku, Peter the Rat, Ivan Matiko, Vladimir Mastura, Nazar Malgova, Igor Nkoloma, Jaroslaw Semotiuk, Taras Sudomir, Yuri Feshchenko Yuriy Cherevko, Ruslan Chizhevsky, Roman Jackowo. For significant personal contribution to Patriotic education of youth and active in social and volunteer activities the head of the region awarded the order "For merits" I degrees UGCC priest Ivan Guni. For significant personal contribution to nation-building, socio-economic, scientific-technical, cultural-educational development of Ukraine, significant labor achievements and high professionalism the order "For merits" III degree, noted Director of the regional art Museum Igor Duda. Also for significant contribution to the development of spirituality, of principles of national consciousness in the Ukrainian society, volunteer activities, Stepan Barna was awarded the insignia "For service of Ukraine" the Chairman of the world Federation of Ukrainian Lemko associations of Sofia Fedina and singer Anna Haberent.
