Rivne oblast: over the weekend rescuers 14 times left on suppression of post-harvest residues
Despite all the warnings of rescuers in fire season, private owners of private farms continue the practice of burning plant residues on their plots. Often such actions lead to fires that threaten residential sector, forest plantations and agricultural land. Thus, only in the past weekend the staff of service of rescue of region had 14 times to go on fighting fires crop residues on the territory of private farms of farmers in six districts with a total area of almost 7 hectares. most of these fires over Saturday and Sunday was in Dubno (4 cases) and Rivne (3 cases) districts. According to preliminary information, the cause of all these fires became uncontrolled combustion of the citizens of post-harvest residues. Head Department gschs of Ukraine in the Rovno area once again underlines the importance of respect for citizens fire safety regulations, especially during this fire season. It is strictly forbidden to use in open areas near farmland, green areas, tortolani open flames, build fires, burn grass and other plant debris, throw in the grass and on roadsides, cigarette butts.
