Luck is preparing to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of independence of Ukraine and the day of the city
At the operational meeting the head of the organizational Department of the city Council Elena Barsky informed about the preparations for the 25th anniversary of independence of Ukraine, the State flag Day of Ukraine, Day of the city. She focused on the fact that there will be many activities for all categories of the population for a variety of tastes and preferences: formal, official, art, sports. In particular, 20 August at 11.00 am at the Theater square will be a solemn Academy on the occasion of the city Day. Presentation of state awards, awards of the soldiers participating ATO, the distinction of "Honorary citizen of Lutsk". August 23 at 09.00 will be the ceremonial raising of the national flag of Ukraine with the participation of the public, participants of the festival "Poliske summer with folklore". For three days the city will folklore of the action of the festival “Poliske summer with folklore”, with the participation of teams from seven countries. Will be the traditional festival of bell art "Volyn bells" and creative action "Kobza Veche". A concert of the choir of bandura players "Karpaty". Lucian young children's entertainment will delight festival "I – lucanin, lukanka" and the festival "fun City" (DJ parade, performances by youth groups, the performance of public organizations, performances of break dance groups, contests). Fans of sporting battles will be able to see the "Giant games" - the opening of the final of Cup of Ukraine on strongman.
