Previously it is established that the police arrived on call and was trying to warn of committing an unknown man armed actions in the pharmacy that is located on the territory of the Rivne Central city hospital. As soon as the police approached the man, the latter fired shots from the weapon. The shooting injured a police officer and the attacker himself. Now the Rivne police Department GU of the National police in the Rivne region initiated pre-trial investigation on the facts of Commission of robbery and violence against a law enforcement officer (criminal offences envisaged by articles 187, 345 criminal code of Ukraine).
