Employees of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region and police conducted a joint operation on revealing and destruction of illegal network of gambling institutions which, under the guise of spreading state lotteries and operation of an Internet cafe provided visitors with services using gaming machines of the type "one-armed bandit and computer equipment with the ability to receive winnings. - As a result of the carried-out searches in the city of Rivne and Rivne region, discovered and seized more than 100 computers, 22 of the gaming machine, two payment terminal PAY-Box, other equipment, documentation, - reported the Deputy Prosecutor of the Rivne region Miroslav Patskan. These investigations conducted by law enforcement authorities in criminal proceedings initiated under part 1 of article 203-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (illegal gambling business). At present investigative actions are carried out to establish the organizers of gambling. Procedural guidance pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Kiev local Prosecutor's office. Is just the beginning of a real struggle with a gambling business on the territory of the region.
