In Ternopil held a regional consultation on the sustainable development goals for Ukraine for the period until 2030
9 August in the city of Ternopil, with the assistance of the Department of economic development and trade of the regional state administration office of the United Nations in Ukraine together with the International organization for migration in the framework of the draft programme for Consultation on the adaptation and localization of the development agenda until 2030 and 17 sustainable development goals in Ukraine” held a regional consultation on the sustainable development goals for Ukraine for the period until 2030. The event was attended by over 60 representatives of public organizations, higher educational institutions and Executive bodies. The participants congratulated the Director of the Department of economic development and trade of regional state administration Galina Volanic and Chairman of Representative office of the International organization for migration in Ukraine Manfred Prophase. During regional consultations in the format of “World caf?” was discussed strategic direction for long-term development in the context 17 sustainable development goals that are grouped by economic, environmental, social and governance dimensions. The results of the discussion will be the basis for the development of a new framework for partnership between Ukraine and the UN for the years 2018-2022.
