The court of appeal upheld a record amount of collateral to the Vinnytsia region in the amount of UAH 4,5 mln
the Board of judges of appellate court of area considered the appeal of lawyers of one of the defendants in criminal proceedings on the organization of the appropriation of forest resources through abuse of position, the measure of restraint in form of detention with the definition of Deposit in the amount of 4.5 million UAH. The court of appeal supported the position of the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region and ruled the decision of the court of first instance to leave without change. We will remind that the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region together with employees of USBU in Vinnitsa region, in the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings held 20 authorized searches, in order to detect evidence of illegal theft of timber, 12 of which were carried out at the same time. Currently, the results of the carried-out searches and the Prime investigative actions,’found that the two residents of Vinnytsia region, acting under a preliminary conspiracy, with the aim of illegal acquisition of forest resources for their own enrichment, organized the criminal scheme for the acquisition, storage, transportation and realization of valuable breeds of wood, having attached to the specified activities of a number of unidentified at the present time. According to the criminal intent of the suspects, officials of state and municipal forest enterprises, for the relevant cash reward, illegally implemented a wood that was either'the subject of unauthorized logging, or was a not pre-recorded balances that are formed in SV'connection with the introduction of timber harvesting in the tickets main use (sanitary felling) inaccurate information about the quantitative and qualitative condition assigned to the felling of trees. Further, by the quest for a vehicle, the suspects and their accomplices carried out the implementation of the timber enterprises timber processing industry of Ukraine. At the same time, to conceal their illegal activities, the payment for their delivered products, were transferred on card accounts opened in banking institutions in the name of'I sub’objects entrepreneurship that actually such activity is not engaged, however, the documentary acted as implementers of wood. It should be noted that during a search at one of the offices, where he operated the suspects, found and removed the press and registration documents all of these entrepreneurs (over 50 stamps and 70 cards), which, incidentally, were not even aware of yield "their business". Subsequently, in pursuance of his criminal intent on taking money for illegal sale of timber, the suspects organized the withdrawal of cash from the above Bank card “entrepreneurs”, as had all the Bank documents which in fact were the suspects and their accomplices. It should be noted that the materials of the investigation data indicate long preparation and consistency of committed crimes, whose investigation continues. For these actions, in Vinnitsa city court the suspect elected a measure of restraint in form of detention with possibility of bail in the amount of 4.5 million UAH.
