Residents also believe that the road that leads to the city's landfill requires high-quality repair and improvement of the wayside and watering twice a day. To study the situation on the city range of solid household waste and the development of measures to improve sanitary and environmental conditions in the neighborhood decided to establish a working group. After increasing the area of a polygon with 25 ha to ha 47,3911 the estimated life of the landfill was extended to 25 years – up to 2025. As of 1 January 2015, the landfill was filled and reclaimed 2 pits. 2015 started filling the third trench with a capacity of 613 thousand cubic meters of unconsolidated debris or 2.5 million cubic meters of compacted waste. Total household waste, which was supposed to be buried at the site in Chernivtsi according to the aforementioned agreements, amounts to 5,000 m3 or 833 tons. This amount of waste the city of Chernivtsi produces 3.5 days. As of August 12, according to the agreements with the city to the landfill in Chernivtsi brought 1660 m3 of garbage, namely: 04.08.2016 G. – 960 m3; 05.08.2016 G. – 700 m3, that is only a third of the planned.
